To me, it is sad to see electronic devices die. They remind me of how we are also temporary and mortal. In this project I disassembled broken down devices.
As a memento, I saved the screws – the only part that can be re-used. Every page of this catalogue is a dead device and in the end you can see the index with information about the different models.
תמיד עצוב לי לראות מכשירי חשמל ואלקטרוניקה מתים. הם מזכירים לי עד כמה גם אנחנו שבירים וזמניים. בפרוייקט זה פירקתי מכשירים מקולקלים וכמזכרת, שמרתי רק את הברגים, החלק היחידי שיכול לבוא לידי שימוש. בכל עמוד בקטלוג זה ישנו מכשיר מת ובסוף הספר ישנו אינדקס של כל המכשירים, עם מידע על הדגמים ושנת הייצור.
